I am a passionate former Registered Nurse and Midwife, trained in the UK with over 30 years Nursing and Midwifery experience. Included in this is over 14 years experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, as a Key Account Manager where my impact on healthcare continued with the use of medicines in health.
I moved to Dubai in 2019 where my career pivoted into healthcare management, within the field of General Manager & Commercial Operations Director in the Homecare setting.
I understand the unique challenges and opportunities within nursing and especially Homecare. I believe that every healthcare provider deserves the best nurses to deliver their care, and that every nurse deserves to practice exceptional nursing, in the right role.
Although I no longer practice clinically, healthcare will always be my passion!

An experienced practitioner, both nationally and internationally, in all aspects of financial management including the introduction and application of the principles of "Managing for Value", which focuses on maximising profitability in the long term. Extensive experience in handling mergers, acquisitions and disposals and in managing a pan-European Finance function.
Working in senior positions with major international organisations Kimberley Clarke( nee Bowater-Scott PLC) and Diageo (nee International Distillers and Vintners/Grand Metropolitan).
Focus post retirement supporting small or start-up businesses, advising on cash management and customer focus thus maximising profitability for the long term.

Developed proactive finance teams both in the UK and throughout Europe who are fundamental to the profitability of their companies, and ensured the integrity and reliability of financial information and implemented tax and cash and currency optimisation schemes

Redesigned the strategic planning process so that it provided the foundation for "Managing for Value", by improved strategic analysis, the development of alternative strategies for business centres, the introduction of new measures of performance, and refocusing resource allocation.

As a Human Resources Graduate, I have enjoyed 23 years global recruitment success.
After moving to Dubai in 2010, the last 14 years have seen me build a fantastic client network across the MENA region, particularly in UAE and KSA where my office was based in 2017-8. In fact I have conducted business trips to KSA on more than 300 occasions.
A deep understanding of the Recruitment industry allows me to consult to esteemed clients, truly supporting through organization development, Manpower planning and Talent Acquisition.
